Venison Crock Pot Soup Recipe

1 pound
1 large
2 stalks
2 large
1 large
1 can
1 – 16 ounce can
1 cup
1/4 cup
1/4 cup
1/4 cup
1 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
venison round steak, cubed
onion, chopped
celery, sliced
carrots, sliced
potato cubed
beef broth
ready cut tomatoes
frozen mixed vegetables
butter
flour
water
beef bouillon
pepper

Recipe Cooking Time: 6 to 8 hours
Pan Type: crock pot


Venison Soup Directions

Combine in a crock pot the cubed venison steak, chopped onion, sliced celery, sliced carrots and cubed potatoes.
Add the beef broth, ready cut tomatoes and mixed vegetables.
In a crock pot, cover and cook soup vegetables on low for the allotted time.
In a small saucepan combine the water, butter, bouillon, pepper and flour.
Stir to make a paste and cook over medium heat until mixture is smooth and starts to thicken.
Pour into the crock pot and stir.
Turn setting to high and cook venison crock pot soup for an additional 30 minutes.

Recipe Serves: about 6
