Venison Beer Steak Recipe

2 pounds
1/3 cup
1/4 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1/4 cup
1 – 12 ounce can
1 – 8 ounce can
1 cup
1 tablespoon
1 small
1 clove
venison round steaks
flour
salt
ground black pepper
oil
beer
tomato sauce
water
Worcestershire sauce
onion, chopped
garlic minced

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 60 to 90 minutes
Pan Type: covered casserole dish


Venison Beer Steaks Directions

Cut the venison beer steaks into serving size pieces.
Dredge venison meat into flour.
Heat the oil in skillet over medium heat.
Add the floured venison steak pieces to hot skillet.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Brown the venison well on both sides.
Add the beer, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic.
Bring beer mixture to a boil.
Cover venison beer steaks and reduce the heat.
Simmer beer steaks for the allotted time or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
