Baked Orange Stuffed Grouse Recipe

1 large
1 – 16 ounce can
1/4 teaspoon
6 slices
1/4 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
grouse
mandarin oranges
onion powder
bread cubed
marjoram
poultry seasoning

salt and pepper to taste

Oven Baked Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Pan Type: pan with lid


Stuffed Grouse Directions

Preheat Oven.

Clean grouse, soak bird overnight in cold water.
Mix salt, pepper and onion powder into small bowl and rub inside the grouse.
Mix bread cubes with marjoram and poultry seasoning.
Stuff the bread mixture into the cavity.
Put stuffed grouse, breast side down into a pan with a tight fitting lid.
Put mandarin oranges with juice into a blender or food processor and mix until chunky, next pour over top of the stuffed grouse.
Cover and bake this orange stuffed grouse recipe.
