Favorable Acorn Squash Recipe


1 large
1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
1/4 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
3/4 cup
1 small can
1/3 cup
acorn squash
orange juice
butter
salt
pepper
nutmeg
whole berry cranberry sauce
mandarin oranges, drained
brown sugar

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 45 to 60 minutes
Pan Type: baking sheet


Acorn Squash Directions

Preheat your oven. Coat pan with some cooking spray.

Cut acorn squash in half and scoop out the pulp and seeds.
Place cut side down onto pan.
Bake acorn squash for the allotted time or until tender.
Remove squash from oven and scoop squash from it's shell. Put cooked squash into a mixing bowl.
Add the orange juice, butter, salt, pepper, nutmeg and brown sugar.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in the cranberry sauce and oranges.
Serve favorable acorn squash immediately.

Recipe Note: You can use jellied or whole berry cranberry sauce.
