Spicy Red Cabbage Recipe

1 large head
1 large
3/4 teaspoon
1 1/4 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
1/3 cup
1/3 cup
red cabbage
onion, chopped
allspice, spicy
salt
pepper
cider vinegar, spicy
brown sugar

Stove Temp: medium / low
Recipe Pan Type: large sauce pan


Red Cabbage Directions

Wash and core the red cabbage.
Shred the cabbage and place into large saucepan.
Add the chopped onions, spicy allspice, salt, pepper, spicy cider vinegar and brown sugar.
Stir well and bring spicy red cabbage mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat, simmer and cook red cabbage recipe for the allotted time, stirring occasionally.
