Becca Chili Recipe

ground beef
onion, chopped
bell pepper, chopped
garlic, minced
tomato soup, undiluted
tomatoes
whole kernel corn, drained
chili powder
bay leaf
paprika
salt
cayenne pepper
kidney beans

Stovetop Temp: medium heat
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Pan Type: large skillet


Becca Chili Directions

In a large skillet brown the ground beef, onion, pepper and garlic until meat is no longer pink in the middle.
Drain well.
Put the meat into a large saucepan. Add the tomato soup, tomatoes, drained corn, chili powder, bay leaf, salt, cayenne pepper and kidney beans.
Mix chili recipe well, cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

Ladle into chili bowls and serve.

Becca's little secret was a sure fire way of getting us to eat our vegetables. Becca's chili was one of our favorite veggi meals.

Recipe Serves: 4 – 6

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
