Teriyaki Turkey Sandwich Recipe

1/4 cup
1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
1/4 cup
1/4 cup
1 teaspoon
4 slices
4 slices
ground turkey
chopped onion
ground ginger
parsley flakes
orange juice
sandwich rolls
Swiss cheese
purple onion

Stove Temp: medium
Recipe Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Pan Type: skillet

Turkey Sandwich Directions

In a medium bowl combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, salt, pepper, ginger, and parsley flakes.
Mix well and shape into four turkey patties.
Heat the oil in skillet.
Cook turkey sandwich patties over medium heat until no-longer pink in the middle, takes about 5 minutes on each side.
In a small saucepan combine the water, orange juice, and cornstarch.
Mix well and cook teriyaki sauce over medium heat until clear and thickened.

To serve teriyaki turkey sandwich:
place one turkey patty on bottom half of the bun. Top with a slice of cheese. Next,top with 1 tablespoon of teriyaki sauce and a slice of onion. Cover with the other half of sandwich bun. Serve up this turkey sandwich along with your favorite side dish.
