Hot Chicken Swiss Filled Bun Recipe

1 cup
1/2 cup
1/2 cup
1/4 cup
2 tablespoon
1/8 teaspoon
12 thin slices
shredded chicken
Swiss cheese, shredded
celery, sliced thin
red onion, chopped
ground black pepper
hamburger buns
deli style ham
bread-butter pickle slices

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Pan Type: tin foil

Hot Chicken Recipe Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a large bowl combine the shredded chicken, shredded cheese, mayonnaise, celery, chopped hot onions and hot black pepper.
Mix hot chicken recipe well.
Open buns and top each bottom half with one slice of ham.
Top with hot chicken mixture.
Place another slice of ham on top of hot chicken mixture. Add the top half of bun. Add as much swiss cheese as you like.
Wrap filled buns in heavy duty foil.
Bake hot chicken in a hot preheated oven.
Remove chicken sandwich from oven and serve with four slices of bread and butter pickles. Serve hot chicken swiss filled bun along with your favorite chips.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
