Breaded Chicken Sandwich Recipe

2 – 4 tablespoons
8 slices
boneless skinless chicken breast halves
flour (for breaded)
onion powder
garlic powder
ground black pepper
egg, beaten
saltine cracker crumbs
Parmesan cheese, grated
oil for frying
Kaiser sandwich rolls
lettuce leaves, optional

Stove Temp: medium
Recipe Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Chicken Sandwich Directions

Use a meat mallet to flatten chicken breast to 1/4 inch thickness.
Set chicken aside.
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
In second shallow bowl, beat the egg and milk until frothy.
Mix cracker crumbs, parmesan cheese and paprika well.
Put cracker crumbs mixture onto a plate.
Dredge the flattened chicken breast into the flour mixture. Remove chicken breast from flour.
Dip chicken breast into egg mixture.
Remove chicken breast from egg mixture.
Dip chicken into cracker crumb mixture.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breaded chicken breast in oil for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Cook chicken until juices run clear. Check breaded chicken by poking with a fork.

Note: Now it's time to make this recipe into a breaded chicken sandwich.

To serve chicken sandwich: Place breaded chicken breast onto a roll. Top each breaded chicken breast with two slices of tomatoes and a lettuce leaf. Serve up breaded chicken sandwich along with your favorite salad or chips.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier.
