Breaded Chicken & Bacon Sandwich Recipe

flour
onion powder
garlic powder
salt
ground black pepper
egg, beaten
milk
seasoned bread crumbs
Parmesan cheese, grated
paprika
oil for frying
mayonnaise
sesame seed hamburger buns
bacon, cooked crisp
tomato

Chicken and Bacon Recipe Directions

Use a meat mallet to flatten chicken breast to 1/4 inch thickness.
Set the chicken aside for now.
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Mix recipe well.
In second shallow bowl, beat the egg and milk until frothy.
Mix seasoned bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and paprika well.
Put seasoned bread crumb mixture on a plate.
Dredge the flattened chicken breast into the flour mixture. Remove chicken breast from flour.
Next dip chicken breast into egg mixture.
Remove the chicken breast from egg mixture.
Dip chicken into seasoned bread crumb mixture.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breaded chicken breast in oil for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear when chicken is poked with a fork.
To serve chicken bacon sandwich: spread both sides of hamburger sandwich buns with mayonnaise.
Put breaded chicken breast onto a bun.
Top chicken breast with 2 slices crisp bacon.
Put slice of tomato on top of chicken and bacon.
Cover top with the other half of bun and serve this chicken and bacon sandwich along with your favorite soup or salad.
