Chili cheese sauce burger recipe, melted cheese with mushroom soup and chili sauce, yum.
Spice up your barbeque with a delicious creamy mushroom sauce.
Great for any cookout, and beats the heck out of plain old burgers.

2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
2 teaspoons chili powder
3/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 pounds ground beef, extra lean burger
8 burger buns

Recipe Pan Type: large skillet or grill
Recipe Cooking Time:

Chili Cheese Burger Directions

Make hamburger patties.
Fry, broil or barbeque until internal temperature measures 170° on meat thermometer.
In a medium sauce pan combine the remaining chili cheese sauce ingredients and cook over medium low heat until cheese completely melts.

To serve recipe: place burger patties on a bun and top with chili cheese sauce.
Serve with our 24 hour Refrigerator Pickles.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
