Deanna's Cabbage Slaw Recipe

6 cups
3 large
1 – 5 ounce can
1/4 cup
2 tablespoons
2 teaspoons
1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon		 cabbage, shredded
apples, cored and chopped
evaporated milk
lemon juice
sugar
onion, grated
celery seed
salt
ground black pepper

 

Container Type: large bowl

 

In a large bowl combine the shredded cabbage, chopped apples and toss together.
In a small bowl combine the evaporated milk, lemon juice, sugar, onion, celery seed, salt and pepper.
Beat well with wire whip or a fork until well blended.
Pour over cabbage and toss well to coat.
Cover cabbage slaw and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serves: 10 – 12
