All Day Pasta Salad Recipe

All Day Pasta Salad

16 ounces
1 large
1 large
1 can
1 can
3/4 cup
1/4 cup
*Elbow Macaroni
sweet orange pepper, chopped
onion, chopped
diced tomatoes
large black olives
Balsamic Vinegar

Recipe Container Type: 4 quart bowl with lid

All Day Pasta Salad Directions

Cook the pasta according to package direction, pour into colander and rinse with cold water.
In a large bowl mix the pasta, pepper, onion, tomatoes, and olives.
Mix the sugar and balsamic vinegar together.
Stir into the All Day Pasta mixture and mix thoroughly.

Cover the All Day pasta salad and refrigerate overnight before serving.

Recipe Servings: 8 – 10

Note: This All Day pasta salad recipe is great for any occasion. I especially like to make it for picnics and camping trips.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
