Cherry Gelatin Salad Recipe

1 – 6 ounce box
2 cups
1 – 21 ounce can
1 – 8 ounce package
1 – 8 ounce can
1 – 8 ounce container
1/2 cup
cherry gelatin
boiling water
cherry pie filling
cream cheese, softened
crushed pineapple, drained
whipped topping, thawed
toasted pecans, chopped

Recipe Pan Type: medium size salad glass bowl

Cherry Salad Directions

Pour cherry gelatin into a large bowl.
Pour boiling water over cherry gelatin and stir until dissolved.
Add cherry pie filling and mix well. Pour into pan.
Place cherry mixture into refrigerator until all the way set up.
In a large mixing bowl beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add drained crushed pineapple and mix until well blended.
Fold in whipped topping.
Spread on top of set cherry gelatin.

Sprinkle the top with nuts.
Refrigerate cherry gelatin salad until ready to serve.

Recipe Serves: 12 – 16
