Italian Dinner Salad Recipe

6 cups
1 medium
1 small
1 small can
1 cup
1/3 cup
1/2 cup
torn romaine lettuce
cucumber, sliced
red onion sliced
black olives, pitted and sliced
grape tomatoes
fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
Italian dressing

Recipe Container Type: dinner serving bowl


Italian Dinner Directions

In large serving bowl add the torn lettuce, sliced onion, sliced cucumber, sliced olives, and tomatoes.
Pour Italian dressing over top and toss gently to blend.
Sprinkle cheese on italian salad top and serve immediately.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
