Mexicana Beef Recipe

Mexicana Beef Dish

1 pound
1/3 cup
1/3 cup
2 cloves
1 – 10.75 ounce can
1 cup
2 cups
1/3 cup
3 cup
6 ounces
1/2 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
ground round steak
onion, chopped
green bell pepper, chopped
garlic, minced
tomato soup, condensed
whole kernel corn
black olives, sliced
rice, cooked
American cheese, shredded
ground black pepper

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Pan Type: 2 quart casserole

Mexicana Beef Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a large skillet brown the beef, onions, green pepper and garlic.
Drain off excess fat.
Add the soup, milk, corn, olives, cooked rice, 1 cup of the cheese, salt and pepper.
Mix well and pour into casserole dish.
Top mexicana beef casserole with remaining cheese.
Bake beef casserole for the allotted time.
Serve mexicana beef along with your favorite salad.

For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
