Turkey Enchilada Recipe

Turkey Enchilada
Sauce:

2 cans

1 clove
2 tablespoons
2 cups
1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 cup
1 1/2 pounds
cooked turkey, shredded
sour cream
shredded cheddar cheese
salt
(10-inch) enchilada tortillas,
corn or flour
cup corn oil



(4 ounces each) chopped
mild green chile peppers
minced garlic
olive oil
chopped onion
salt
oregano
water
stewed tomatoes


Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Pan Type: 9" x 13" baking pan


Turkey Enchilada Directions

Preheat your oven.

Combine turkey with sour cream, cheese and 1 teaspoon salt. Heat 1/3 cup of oil and dip tortillas in until soft, then drain.
Stuff with turkey mixture and roll up.
Put seam side down, side-by-side into baking pan.
Prepare enchilada sauce.
Sauté chilies with garlic in oil.
Add the stewed tomatoes, onions, 1 teaspoon salt, oregano and water.
Simmer turkey enchilada chile sauce uncovered until thick, about 1/2 hour.
Pour the chile sauce over turkey enchiladas and bake for allotted time.
Let enchiladas set 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Serve turkey enchilada along with your favorite salad and beverage.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier.
