Original Beef Burrito Recipe

1 pound
1 package
1 package
1 cup
1 – 8 ounce package
ground beef
burrito seasoning mix
burrito size flour tortillas
water
Mexican blend cheese, shredded

salsa
sour cream

Stove Temp: medium
Recipe Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Pan Type: skillet


Beef Burrito Directions

Brown the ground beef in skillet over medium heat, stir to break up the beef.
Cook beef until no longer pink.
Drain.
Return beef to the skillet and add burrito seasoning and water.
Bring beef and burrito mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until most of liquid is absorbed and the beef burrito mixture has thickened.
Heat the burrito tortillas.
Put out a sheet of waxed paper onto your counter.
Spray or sprinkle each tortilla with water lightly and stack on the waxed paper.
Wrap burrito tortillas with waxed paper and microwave for 45 to 60 seconds on high.
Spread beef burrito mixture over warmed tortillas.
Top burrito with cheese and fold.
Serve this original beef burrito recipe along with your favorite salsa and sour cream.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
