Glazed Turkey Patty Recipe

1 pound
1/4 cup
1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
1/3 cup
1/2 teaspoon
1/3 cup
1 tablespoon
ground turkey patties
chopped onion
salt
pepper
ginger
parsley flakes
butter
orange juice
cornstarch
water
teriyaki sauce

Stove Temp: medium
Recipe Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Pan Type: large skillet


Turkey Patty Directions

In a medium bowl combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, salt, pepper, ginger and parsley.
Mix well and shape into three turkey patties.
Melt butter in skillet, add patties and cook turkey over medium heat until lightly brown and no longer pink in the middle, takes about 10 minutes.
Remove turkey patties to plate.
Add the orange juice, cornstarch, water and teriyaki sauce. Cook over medium heat until thicken, stirring constantly.
Return glazed turkey patties to skillet and simmer 5 minutes.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
