Fish Potato Patty Recipe

1 cup
3 cups
1/2 cup
2 tablespoons
1 large
2 tablespoons
1/4 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
cooked flaked fish
plain mashed potatoes
green onions, chopped fine
green pepper, chopped fine
black pepper
oil for frying

Stove Temp: medium
Recipe Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Pan Type: large skillet

Fish Potato Patty Directions

In a large bowl combine the flaked fish, mashed potatoes, chopped onions, chopped green pepper, egg, flour, black pepper and salt.
Mix well.
Shape into patties and fry until lightly brown, about 4 minutes. Turn fish potato patty and continue cooking other side until done.
Serve fish potato patties along with your favorite side dish.

Recipe Note: This is a great way to use leftover fish.
They could be used for breakfast while camping at the lake.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
