Lobster or Shrimp Newburg Recipe

1/3 cup
2 tablespoons
1/2 teaspoon
2 cups

1/4 cup
10 ounces
butter, melted
flour
salt
light cream
egg, yolks
lemon juice
sherry
fresh or frozen lobster or shrimp, diced and thawed

Stove Temp: medium
Recipe Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Pan Type: skillet


Lobster or Shrimp Directions

Put butter in the pan and melt over medium heat.
Blend in the flour and salt.
Stir in the cream and stir constantly until mixture thickens.
Beat the egg yolks.
Add a small amount of the hot mixture and mix with fork.
Pour yokes into the hot mixture and cook for 1 minute.
Add the sherry and lemon juice to make the newberg flavor, heat them through.
Add diced lobster or shrimp and cook until opaque.
The lobster or shrimp will change color as it cooks.
Serve lobster or shrimp newberg over toast. Lobster newberg is perfect to go with noodles and your favorite side dish.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier.
