Deluxe Halibut Recipe

2 tablespoons
2 – 3 pound
1 large
1 pound
2 cups
1 can
1 1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
12 ounces
butter
thick halibut fillet
onion, sliced
fresh mushrooms, sliced
mayonnaise
cream of mushroom soup
dill weed
pepper
salt
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

 

Oven Temp: 400°
Recipe Cooking Time: 35 to 45 minutes
Pan Type: 9" x 13" baking pan


Deluxe Halibut Directions

Preheat Oven.

Melt butter in pan and lay halibut fish in the bottom, skin side down. Layer sliced onion on top of the halibut.
Layer the sliced mushrooms on top of the onion.
In a medium bowl combine the mayonnaise, mushroom soup, dill weed, pepper and salt.
Mix well and pour over the top of halibut and vegetables.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of all.
Cook deluxe halibut for the allotted time or until the fish flakes when tested with a fork.
Serve this halibut recipe with tartar sauce and your favorite salad.

Recipe Serves: 6 to 8
