Pork Chops in Mushroom Sauce Recipe

6 – 8
2 – 3 tablespoons
2 cups
1/2 cup
2 tablespoons
1/4 cup
4 cups
1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
pork chops
oil
mushrooms, chopped
onion, chopped
butter
flour
milk
salt
pepper

 

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Pan Type: 9" x 13" baking pan


Pork Mushrooms Directions

Preheat Oven.

Heat the oil in skillet.
Brown pork chops over medium heat.
Prepare sauce.
In the skillet, sauté mushrooms and onions in the butter.
Cook until mushrooms are tender.
Add the flour salt and pepper.
Stir until smooth.
Add the milk slowly and stir.
Simmer pork mushrooms for 20 minutes or so stirring occasionally.
Remove pork chops when done and drain.
Place pork chops in baking pan.
Pour mushroom sauce over pork chops.
Bake pork and mushrooms covered.
Sauce makes great gravy for any meat and potatoes.
Serve pork mushrooms along with your favorite side dish.

Recipe Serves: 6 to 8
