Pork Chops and Sour Cream Gravy Recipe

2 tablespoons
6 loin
1/4 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1/4 cup
2 tablespoons
1 – 16 ounce can
1/3 cup
1 1/2 pounds
1 cup
olive oil
pork chops
ground black pepper
onion, chopped
chicken broth
new potatoes, sliced
dairy sour cream

Stove Temp: medium
Recipe Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Pan Type: skillet

Pork Chops and Gravy Directions

Heat the oil.
Brown the pork chops.
Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
Remove pork chops from the skillet when browned.
Add the onion to the pan drippings and cook until tender.
Add the flour and stir to make a paste.
Add the chicken broth and water, mix well to blend. Salt and pepper gravy to taste.
Return pork chops to the skillet.
Add the potatoes.
Bring pork chops mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer until pork chops and potatoes are tender.
Stir in the sour cream and heat thoroughly. Add more sour cream if desired.
Serve pork chops and gravy along with your favorite side dish.
