Mushroom Pork Chops Recipe

1 can
pork chops
salt
pepper
fresh mushrooms
onion
water
mushroom soup

Oven Temp: 350º
Recipe Cooking Time: 1 1/2 hours
Pan Type: 9" x 13" baking pan


Mushroom Pork Chops Directions

Preheat Oven.

Place pork chops in skillet with small amount of oil, season with salt and pepper.
Brown chops on both sides.
Remove from skillet and place in baking dish.
Sauté onions in same skillet until tender, add one cup water. Mix in mushroom soup and mushrooms.
Pour mushroom mixture over the pork chops and place in oven to bake.
Mushroom pork chops are good served with rice and your favorite side dish.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt.
