Beef Chicken Gravies Lamb Pork Seafood and Fish Turkey

Top Round Roast Recipe

1 – 8 pound
1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
6 slices

top round roast
minced garlic
coarse black pepper
salt
onion powder
fresh onions


Oven Temp: 325°
Recipe Cooking Time: 20 minutes per pound
Pan Type: roaster pan


Top Round Roast Directions

Preheat your oven.

Place top round roast meat onto rack in roasting pan.
Rub the minced garlic onto the roast.
Sprinkle top with pepper, salt and onion powder.
Lay the sliced onions on top round roast.
Cover the top and cook for 20 minutes per pound or until desired doneness.
Serve top round roast recipe along with your favorite goodies.

Recipe Note: I used the pan drippings and a package brown gravy mix and made the best roast gravy ever.
I made a larger round roast because I had company and wanted to have meat left over for sandwiches. These recipe directions are the same for any size round roast.

This top round roast recipe serves about 6 people.
