Simple Veal Parmigiana Recipe

1/2 cup
1/4 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/4 cup
2 pounds
1 large
1 cup
1 – 8 ounce can
1/4 cup
1
6 slices
flour
salt
pepper
granulated garlic
olive oil
veal cutlets
onion, chopped
beef broth
tomato sauce
parmesan cheese, shredded
bay leaf
mozzarella cheese

Stove Temp: low
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 to 45 minutes
Pan Type: large skillet


Veal Parmigiana Directions

In a medium shallow dish combine the flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Mix well.
Heat the oil.
Dredge the veal cutlets on both sides.
Cook the veal meat until golden brown.
Add chopped onions and cook until tender.
Add beef broth, tomato sauce, grated cheese and bay leaf. Cover and simmer veal parmigiana for the allotted time or until meat is tender. Stir your simple veal parmigiana while cooking.
Remove veal and top with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
Spoon the sauce over the top of veal and serve veal parmigiana with your favorite side dish.
