Beef Chicken Gravies Lamb Pork Seafood and Fish Turkey

Grilled Marinated Top Round Steak Recipe

2/3 cup
1/4 cup
1/4 cup
3 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
4 cloves
1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
2 pounds
fresh lime juice
onions, chopped fine
water
oil
ground ginger
garlic, minced
salt
ground black pepper
high quality beef top round steak, 1 ½” thick

 

Grill Temp: hot
Recipe Cooking Time: 25 to 30 minutes


Marinated Top Round Steak Directions

In a large plastic bag combine the following; lime juice, chopped onions, water, oil, ginger and garlic, salt and ground black pepper.
Seal and shake vigorously to blend.
Place the top round steak into the bag, seal and turn bag several times to marinate and coat.
Place sealed bag in the refrigerator to marinate 6 hours or overnight, longer is better.
Remove the steaks from marinate.
Do not save marinate.
Place steaks on grill.
Grill with cover on for allotted time or until internal temperature reaches 140°F for medium rare.
Temperature will rise by 5° as it stands for 5 minutes before carving.
Carve the marinated top round steaks into thin slices crosswise.
Serve with your favorite potato and vegetable.
