Vonda’s Beer Steak Recipe

2 pounds
1/4 cup
1/4 cup
1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1 – 12 ounce can
1 – 8 ounce can
1 – 6 ounce can
1 cup
round steak
flour
oil
salt
ground black pepper
beer
tomato sauce
mushrooms
water

 

Stove Temp: low
Recipe Cooking Time: 60 to 75 minutes
Pan Type: skillet


Beer Steak Directions

Cut steak into serving pieces.
Dredge in flour.
Heat the oil.
Add the floured steak.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Brown the steak well on both sides.
Add the beer, tomato sauce, mushrooms and water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cover.
Simmer steaks for allotted time, stirring occasionally until beer sauce is thickened and steak meat is fork tender.
Serve with your favorite side dish.
