Barbecued New York Strip Steak Recipe

1/2 cup
1/2 cup
1 teaspoon
New York strip steaks 1/2” thick
feta cheese, crumbled
Johnny's garlic spread

salt to taste
pepper to taste
onion powder to taste
barbecue sauce

Grill Temp: hot
Recipe Cooking Time: 20 minutes

New York Steak Directions

Heat coals or gas grill.

Put new york steaks on bbq grill.
Season steaks with the salt, pepper and onion powder.
Cover and cook until new york steaks are to your desired doneness.
While steak is cooking, combine softened butter, crumbled feta cheese and Johnny's garlic spread in a small bowl. Mix cheese mixture well.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Put cheese mixture in the refrigerator while you finish cooking steaks.
When steaks are nearly done, season with salt and pepper. Brush steaks with barbecue sauce.
Cook new york steaks for a few minutes longer.
Turn steaks and brush barbecue sauce on other side.
Cook for few minutes and remove to a serving platter.
To serve, top each bbq new york steak with 2 tablespoons cheese mixture and add your favorite potato.
Your family and or guest will rave.
Note: You can use any cut of steak that you choose.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
