Turkey Cabbage Patch Soup Recipe
Traditional cabbage patch soup is prepared with ground beef, I love it so much I decided to come up with my own healthier version using ground turkey. It hits the spot (without hurting your waistline).
1 pound lean ground turkey
3 – 16 ounce cans chicken broth
1 – 32 ounce can ready cut tomatoes
2 – 16 ounce cans kidney beans
1 head green cabbage, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
6 large carrots, sliced
1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Stovetop Temp: simmer
Recipe Cooking Time: to 50 minutes
