1/2 cup

brown rice, uncooked
chicken broth low fat, reduced sodium
onion, chopped
garlic, minced
carrots, diced
celery, sliced thin
olive oil
salt

Recipe Cooking Time: 45 – 60 minutes
Pan Type: medium saucepan

Rice Pilaf Recipe Directions

In a medium saucepan, bring chicken broth to boil.
Add uncooked rice, chopped onion, sliced celery, minced garlic and oil.
Bring back to boiling, stir, reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed.
