Sugar Free Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

1/2 cup

2 teaspoons

1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
2 teaspoons
2 cups
1/2 cup
1 cup
eggs
vegetable oil
Splenda
unsweetened applesauce
vanilla
all purpose flour
salt
cinnamon
nutmeg
baking soda
quick oats
walnuts, chopped
raisins

 

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 10 – 13 minutes
Pan Type: cookie sheet


Sugar Free Oatmeal Cookies Directions

Preheat Oven.

In a large mixing bowl beat eggs until fluffy.
Add oil and sugar free Splenda, mix well.
Stir in applesauce and vanilla.
Add the flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and oats.
Mix sugar free cookie ingredients well.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Drop by well rounded teaspoon unto un greased cookies sheet.
Bake oatmeal cookies for the allotted time or until lightly brown.
Cool on cookie racks.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup.
