Meat Sauce and Spaghetti Recipe

1 pound
2 cloves
1 large
1 – 16 ounce can
1 – 10 ounce can
1/2 cup
1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1
1/8 teaspoon
1 – 12 ounce package
lean ground beef
garlic, minced
onion, chopped
tomato sauce
tomato soup, undiluted
water
salt
ground black pepper
bay leaf
thyme
spaghetti noodles, cooked
parmesan cheese, optional

Stove Temp: low
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Pan Type: skillet


Spaghetti Directions

Brown the meat, onions and garlic until meat is no longer pink in the middle.
Drain off excess fat.
Add the tomato sauce, tomato soup, water, salt, ground black pepper, bay leaf and thyme.
Bring sauce to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for allotted time.
Stir meat sauce occasionally.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
Drain spaghetti.
Serve meat sauce over hot spaghetti. Add a nice touch with your favorite bread or rolls. Top with parmesan cheese if desired.
