Good Lasagna Recipe

1 1/2 pounds
1 large
2 cloves
2 teaspoon
2 teaspoons
1 tablespoons
2 teaspoon
1 – 6 ounce can
1 – 8 ounce can
3 1/2 cups
12 ounces
12 ounces
1 – 16 ounce container
9 		ground beef
onion, chopped
garlic, minced
salt
chili powder
sugar
dried basil
tomato paste
tomato sauce
water
mozzarella cheese, shredded
cheddar cheese, shredded
cottage cheese
lasagna noodles, uncooked

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 1 1/2 hours
Pan Type: baking pan


Good Lasagna Directions

Preheat Oven.

In a skillet brown the meat, onions and garlic.
Drain good.
Add the sugar, tomato paste, tomato sauce, basil, chili powder, salt and water.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
Pour 1 1/2 cups of sauce into pan.
Top with 3 uncooked lasagna noodles.
Spoon 1/2 of cottage cheese on top of sauce.
Top with 4 ounces of mozzarella cheese and 4 ounces of cheddar cheese.
Repeat layer.
Last layer will be sauce, noodles mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake this good lasagna for allotted time. Let set for 15 minutes after you remove from the oven for easier serving.
Serve up good lasagna and a good cold drink.
