Chicken Lasagna Recipe 2

8 ounces
3 cups
2 tablespoons
1 clove
2 cans
1/3 cup
1/8 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1 large
2 cups
2 tablespoon
3 cups
1 cup
lasagna noodles
chicken, cooked
garlic minced
green onions, sliced
cream of chicken soup
cottage cheese
Italian blend cheese, shredded
parmesan cheese

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Pan Type: baking pan

Chicken Lasagna Recipe Directions

Preheat your oven.

Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
Melt the butter in a large skillet, add the garlic and cook until tender.
Add the sliced green onion, soup milk, pepper and cayenne. Stir until smooth.
In a medium beat the egg until frothy.
Add the cottage cheese and parsley and mix well.
Put small amount of sauce in bottom of pan.
Place 3 noodles on top of sauce, 1 cup of the chicken, 1/3 of the sauce, 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture, 1 cup of Italian cheese blend and 1/3 cup of parmesan cheese.
Repeat layers.
Bake for the allotted time and serve with your favorite warm bread.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
