Wacky Chocolate Cake Recipe

3 cups
2 teaspoons
3/4 cup
2 tablespoon
2 cups
6 tablespoons
2 teaspoons
2 cups
flour
baking soda
oil
vinegar
sugar
cocoa powder
vanilla
water

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 to 35 minutes
Pan Type: 9 x 13 baking pan


Wacky Chocolate Cake Directions

Preheat Oven.

Put sugar in ungreased pan.
Sift the flour, cocoa and baking soda on top of sugar.
Make a hole in center of dry ingredients.
Put the water, vinegar, oil and vanilla in hole.
Mix all together with wooden spoon until smooth.
Bake cake for allotted time.
Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool.
This wacky chocolate cake is very moist.
You do not need to frost.
I like to dust it with powdered sugar and serve with my favorite tea or coffee.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
