4 medium
3/4 cup
2 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
1/8 teaspoon
1 tablespoon

yams
apple juice
grated gingerroot
brown sugar
salt
butter

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 – 45
Pan Type: 1 1/2 quart casserole dish

Yummy Yams Recipe Directions

Preheat your oven.

Wash the yams and peel.
Cut yams into 1/4” “thick rounds.
Lay in bottom of casserole dish.
In a separate bowl mix the apple juice, grated gingerroot, brown sugar and the salt.
Pour over yams. Top with butter.
Bake yams uncovered in hot oven for the allotted time or until yams are a golden brown and most of liquid has evaporated.

Serves: 6 to 8
