Holiday Festive Green Beans Recipe

1/4 pound
1/4 cup
1/2 cup
1 clove
4 cups
1/4 teaspoon
3/4 teaspoon		 bacon, regular sliced
butter
onions, chopped
garlic, minced
tiny whole green beans, frozen
pepper
salt

Pan Type: skillet


Green Beans Recipe Directions

Cook the bacon until crisp.
Drain well on paper towels.
Crumble and set aside.

Heat skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
Add the chopped onions and garlic.
Cook stirring occasionally until lightly browned.
Add the frozen green beans and cook stirring occasionally until thawed and heated thoroughly.

Season holiday festive green beans with pepper and salt.
Stir in the crumbled bacon.

Recipe Note: You can cook the bacon up early in the day and then refrigerate for later. You will get a lot of compliments on this festive dish. It is elegant enough for any special holiday and simple enough to serve every day.
