Holiday Cranberry Relish Recipe

1 cup
1/2 cup
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
navel orange
fresh cranberries
brown sugar, packed
canned cherries, drained
white distilled vinegar
ground cinnamon
ground cloves
cinnamon stick

Merry Christmas, have fun making this delicious recipe.

Cranberry Relish Directions

Rinse cranberries, remove stems if needed.
Cut the orange and lemon into quarters and remove any seeds.
Put oranges, lemon and the cranberries into a food processor and chop fine.
In a large saucepan add the chopped orange, lemon, cranberries, brown sugar, raisins, cherries, vinegar, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon stick.
Mix well, bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
Remove cinnamon stick and discard.
Let cranberry sauce cool slightly before pouring into container.
Cover with lid.
Cool completely before serving.
Cranberry relish will keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator and may be frozen.
