Hot Cranberry Tea with Cinnamon Recipe

4 cups
1 long
12 whole
1/4 cup
2 cups
5 bags
water
cinnamon stick
cloves
sugar
cranberry juice
tea

Recipe Pan Type: saucepan

Hot Cranberry Tea Directions

In a large saucepan combine the water, cinnamon stick, whole cloves and sugar.
Bring cinnamon mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Turn off heat source.
Cover pan and let set for 5 minutes.
Remove cinnamon stick and the cloves.
Add the tea bags and let set for 5 minutes.
Remove tea bags and discard.
Add cranberry juice and heat back to boiling.
Serve hot cranberry tea in your favorite tea mugs.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
