Sweet Potato Pie Recipe

1 – 9"
1/4 cup
1 cup
1 cups
1/3 cup
1 teaspoon
2 large
1/2 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon		 unbaked pastry shell
butter, softened
sweet potatoes, cooked
granulated sugar
evaporated milk
vanilla
eggs, beaten
cinnamon
nutmeg

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 60
Pan Type: 9 inch pie plate


Sweet Potato Pie Directions

Preheat Oven.

In a large mixing bowl add the cooked and drained sweet potatoes.
Mash with electric mixer.
Add the butter, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Mix well.
Add the eggs and vanilla; beat until mixture is well blended.
Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell and bake for the allotted time or until set.
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Recipe Serves: 6 – 8
