Favorite RecipeMint Cheesecake Recipe

1/3 cup
1 can
1 – 12 ounce bag
3 – 8 ounce packages
1 tablespoon

graham cracker crumbs, crushed
granulated sugar
butter melted
whole milk
green mint chips
cream cheese, softened
vanilla
eggs
tablespoons flour

Hot fudge sauce, optional
Whipped cream, optional

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Pan Type: 9" springform pan


Preheat your oven.

In a medium bowl combine the crushed graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter.
Press firmly in bottom of springform pan.
In small saucepan over medium heat melt the mint chips with the whole milk. Stir occasionally until mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat to cool.

In a large mixing bowl beat the softened cream cheese and vanilla until fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Add the flour and cooled mint mixture. Beat well.
Pour into pan, then bake mint cheesecake for the allotted time or until set.
Cool cheesecake to room temperature on wire rack. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
To serve mint cheesecake, drizzle the top with hot fudge and top with whipped cream if desired.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt.
