Holiday RecipeCandy Cane Cookies Recipe

2 cups, plus 2 TB
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
1/2 cup
1/2 cup
1 – 12 ounce bag
butter
granulated sugar
powdered sugar
egg
flour
cream of tarter
baking soda
vanilla
candy canes, finely crushed
chopped pecans
white chocolate chips

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 10 to 12 minutes
Pan Type: cookie sheet


Candy Cane Cookies Directions

Preheat Oven.

Cream the butter, sugars and egg, add the dry recipe ingredients gradually.
Using a teaspoon full of dough roll into a 2" rope and shape into candy cane, placing 2" apart on un-greased cookie sheet.
Bake cookies for allotted time.
Remove from the oven.
While cookies are still hot sprinkle with the white chocolate morsels.
Let chocolate melt for 2 minutes and spread into a thin layer.
Sprinkle generously with the candy and nuts.

Transfer candy cane cookies to wire racks to cool.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
