Almond Butter Toffee Recipe

2 cups
1 cup
2 cups
3 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
1 cup
almonds, chopped
butter
granulated sugar
milk
cream of tarter
semi-sweet chocolate chips

nonstick pan spray

Recipe Pan Type: 9" x 13" pan


Almond Butter Toffee Directions

Spray pan with nonstick pan spray.

Sprinkle chopped nuts in bottom of pan.

In a large saucepan combine the butter, sugar, milk and cream of tarter, stirring constantly cook over medium heat until mixture registers 290° on candy thermometer.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Pour mixture over the top of nuts and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Let chips melt before spreading and cool completely on wire racks.
When cool, break into bite size pieces and store in an airtight container.
