bananas
salt

baking soda
frozen blueberries
dried Bing cherries
chopped pecans
fresh cranberries

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Pan Type: 2 loaf pan

Holiday Bread Directions

Preheat oven, then grease and flour pans.

Cream together the shortening and sugar.
Add the eggs and bananas and beat well.
Add the flour, salt and baking soda.
Beat well. Stir in the fruit and nuts.
Divide evenly into 2 loaf pans and bake.
Remove from oven and cool on wire racks.
This holiday bread freezes well, or use small loaf pans and give as gifts.
