Sherri’s Chocolate Chip Pie Recipe

2 large
1/2 cup
1/2 cup
1/2 cup
1 cup
1 teaspoon
1 cup
1 cup
1 – 9"
eggs
granulated sugar
dark brown sugar
all purpose flour
butter, melted
vanilla
chocolate chips
pecans, chopped
unbaked pie shell

Oven Temp: 325°
Recipe Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Pan Type: 9" pie plate


Chocolate Chip Pie Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a large mixing bowl beat the eggs until foamy.
Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar beat well.
Add the flour and mix well.
Stir in the melted butter and the vanilla.
Add the chocolate chips and nuts and mix well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for the allotted time.
Cool 20 to 30 minutes before serving.

Note: This is great served plain, but is even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream after your favorite meal.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
