Raisin Walnut Pie Recipe

1 – unbaked
1/2 cup
3/4 cup
3 large
1 teaspoon
1 cup
1 cup
9" pie shell
granulated sugar
seedless raisins
walnuts, broken

Oven Temp: 400°/ 375°
Recipe Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Pan Type: pie plate

Raisin Walnut Pie Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition.
Add vanilla, mix well.
Stir in raisins and walnut pieces.
Pour pie filling into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake for 10 minutes at highest temperature, reduce heat for 30 minutes at lower temperature setting.
If the edges of pie brown too fast you can place strips of foil on them.
Put on wire rack to cool when you remove from oven.
Serve with dollop of thawed whipped topping after your favorite meal.

These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
