Good Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

1 – 8 ounce package
3/4 cup
1/2 cup
1 cup
1 – 8 ounce tub
1 – 9”
cream cheese, softened
peanut butter, creamy or chunky
good milk
good powdered sugar
good whipped topping, thawed
graham or chocolate cracker crust

Recipe Pan Type: 9" pie plate

Peanut Butter Pie Directions

In a large mixing bowl combine the good softened cream cheese and peanut butter, then beat until creamy.
Add good milk and powdered sugar, then beat until smooth.
Fold in the thawed whipped topping.
Pour the peanut butter pie into a good crust and then refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
To garnish, sprinkle your good peanut butter pie with chopped nuts or grated chocolate.

Note: This is a recipe that I got from a lady at our church.
It is very easy to make and really good.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
