Frozen Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

1 – 9”
1 – 8 ounce package
1 – 14 ounce can
3/4 cup
2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
1 cup
chocolate crumb pie crust
cream cheese, softened
sweetened condensed milk
creamy peanut butter
lemon juice from concentrate
heavy whipping cream, whipped
chocolate syrup, optional


Frozen Peanut Butter Pie Directions

In a large mixing bowl cream the softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter until fluffy.
Add lemon juice and vanilla and mix well.
In a separate mixer bowl beat the whipping cream until stiff. Fold into peanut butter mixture.
Spoon the filling into pie shell.
Place in the freezer for 4 hours or until firm before serving.
Squeeze chocolate syrup on a serving plate and set slice of pie on top and serve after your favorite meal.
Return leftovers to the freezer promptly.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
